about

Snake Figures Arkestra came together for an intense working period between 2007 and 2009. Weekly and sometimes daily sessions mostly held at Schick's now demolished P4C studios, one official mCD release and a few legendary concert performances document this obscure Berlin duo. The resulting music refers to many different influences and is partly inspired the New Weird America movement, French musique concrète, noise music & Berlin's experimental underground. This album is a fine selection of raw glitchy noise pieces edited and mixed by Marcel Türkowsky on base of the vast archive the duo assembled during their frequent weekly sessions. More amazing footage of this group is still waiting in the vault and will be released in the near future.
