"Pedro André & Ignaz Schick first met around 2010 when André was heavily involved as founding member in the legendary Altes Finanzamt collective and project room in Berlin and as such booked many shows for Schick and his projects. The two started collaborating and playing music together around 2012 and continue to work on and off up until today. In the early days of their music making André would mostly signal process Schick's sound material which he generated with his "Rotating Surfaces" set-up. The resulting music had a taste of dub, a warm atmosphere and was often quite rhythmical. Later and for this album Schick returned to classic turntablism based on vinyls and now also André starting feeding samples, loops and other source materials into the process. The resulting music is mostly calm, loopy, sometimes noisy but still multi-layered and often quite intense."
